About

That's me on the left...my girlfriend took that picture of me while we were at a pumpkin patch in Boulder...I live in Denver though...after graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2003 I moved to Vail for 5 years working as a photojournalist at the Vail Daily. That's when I began photographing weddings...I'm 30 and I have grey hairs in my beard and sideburns...I don't mind though...I snowboard, rock climb, and play ping pong. I've been to Europe a few times. I love New York and my little terrier Juno. I really want to go to Southeast Asia and rent a motorcycle and cruise around taking pictures the entire time. Lately I've been listening to a lot of indie music...Bon Iver, Broken Bells and Blind Pilot. But I mostly listen to hip-hop. I know kinda random...I'm white, I'm skinny, and I don't dress like a gangster...but the essence of hip-hop is the appeal to me. It's all about working hard, being passionate and never quitting. Photography is exactly the same. You have to work hard to be good at it, you have to have passion, and I'll never quit even if I win the lottery. Photography to me is not a job, it's not a career, it's a lifestyle, and I love it.
