About

Timeless, unique, subtle. Three words I would use to describe my style and approach. Excellent photography is timeless. I want you to look at your wedding photographs in 20, 30, 40 years from now and feel the same way you did on your wedding day. My photographs are not full of flash in the pan trends, they are unique they have heart and soul. One of my favorite artists Chuck Close sums up some of my thoughts on
photography best.
“I think while photography is the easiest medium in which to be competent, it is probably the hardest one in which to develop an idiosyncratic personal vision. It’s the hardest medium in which to separate yourself from all those other people who are doing reasonably good stuff and to find a personal voice, your own vision, and to make something that is truly, memorably yours and not someone else’s. A recognized signature style of photography is an incredibly difficult thing to achieve.”
I am never on “auto pilot” at your wedding. Every time I document a wedding it is an opportunity to push myself to make new exciting and emotional photographs. A wedding is always different and is special to the couple whose families bring their own traditions, and backgrounds to the event. With so many moments, people, locations, and details I use these
elements to create subtle, layered, quiet images.
